Elevate Therapy LLC is owned and operated by Erum Qureshi, Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).

My Philosophy

I understand that everyone has their own story and background that has shaped who they are and how they experience the world. My role is to listen, provide a safe place and support you as you process the change, loss, trauma, or difficult times that brought you to therapy. I believe working with you is a privilege, so I will always respectfully approach you with authenticity and honesty, always keeping your goals and best interests in mind.

Education & Training

My Approach

I use a variety of evidence-based techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and mindfulness practices, to help clients learn tools to overcome negative thought patterns and behaviors. I believe in a holistic approach to mental health, addressing both the mind and body.

My approach is largely client-centered, which means I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their goals and develop a customized treatment plan.

I place a strong emphasis on building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship.

Erum Qureshi, LMHC

I attended University of Central Florida where I earned my Bachelors Degree in Psychology in 2013 and my Masters of Arts degree in Counselor Education - Mental Health Track in 2015. I obtained my license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of Florida in 2019.
